Madison Theatre presents "An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein: A Tribute to Joan Roberts". (In association with South Shore Theatricals) Proceeds will help fund a scholarship fund for vocal performance majors at Molloy College. Featuring Stars from Broadway, TV and Film…with the COS orchestra. Cast will include: Frank Basile, Nikki Renee Daniels, Nina Hennessey, David Hibbard, Timothy Hughes, Jeff Kready, Aylse Alan Louis, Lee Meriwether, Marni Nixon, Lee Roy Reams, Sal Viviano and more! South Shore Theatricals wishes to dedicate its premiere production, "An Evening of Rodgers & Hammerstein," produced in cooperation with the Madison Theatre at Molloy College, as a tribute to our late board member and advisor Joan Roberts, a strong supporter of the performing arts on Long Island, and Molloy College in particular, helping to raise the funds that built the Hays Theater. We will perform this tribute on May 25 at the Madison Theater at Molloy College. Joan Roberts spent the latter part of her life supporting theatre here on Long Island. A stand-up comedian since his high school days at Valley Stream Central High School in Valley Stream, NY, Jim Breuer worked in comedy clubs around the country for several years before deciding to become a regular on the New York comedy club circuit.
 
In 1995, Jim joined NBC's "Saturday Night Live," becoming best known for his original character "Goat Boy" and his impression of actor Joe Pesci. After a four-year stint on "SNL," Jim starred in the movie "Half Baked" alongside Dave Chappelle.
 
That summer, MTV also invited the comedian to co-host the popular show "MTV's Beach House." Additional appearances include numerous stints on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," as well as roles in several movies, such as "Dick" (1999) and "Once in the Life" (2000), "Beer League (2006)," and most recently, "The Zookeeper" (2010) with Kevin James.
 
Jim continues to perform at comedy club and colleges across the country and currently resides in New Jersey where he enjoys spending time with his family.
