The South Shore Symphony, celebrating its 27th season in 2011, is an associate of the Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts, based in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York.

Scott Jackson Wiley and the South Shore Symphony again collaborate with Artistic Director Joan MacNaughton and the dancers from Leggz Ltd Dance to bring a "concert" version of the delightful ballet "Petrushka", the story of a puppet who is in love with a ballerina at the fair. The South Shore Symphony performs the entire 1911 original version of Stravinsky's famous ballet while special guest artists and local dancers perform this enchanting work with additional choreography by Joan MacNaughton and Stephanie Godino.
