A Letter from our Artistic Director regarding the COVID19 Policy

From the Artistic Director:

As our Madison Theatre opens this fall, I have had to make some decisions in order to make sure our community has a safe enjoyable experience.  Although our decision may not be convenient for some of our patrons, I had to consider many factors while setting this policy.  These policies were not made without much debate and thought on how it would may be received by our patrons and community.  However, The Madison Theatre needs to consider the safety of every patron, our Long Island community, every Molloy student and faculty member, and our staff, crew and cast members.  Each of these groups may be adversely effected by a single incident.  Understand, a single outbreak amongst our patrons, staff or students could effectively shut down our theatre, or worse, the entire Molloy Campus to students and faculty for an indeterminant amount of time.  This is a risk and a liability that I am not willing to take for our community, staff, or patrons.  I am not advocating one way or the other for anyone’s personal choice in this matter.  But, it would take just one domino to topple for the entire Madison and Molloy community.   We are thrilled that we are back after a very long and hard 18 months of isolation, and  I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

Angelo Fraboni – Artistic Director
