Sunshine After Midnight is a diverse showcase of original guitar styles—including R&B\, jazz\, rock\, fusion and JJ’s trademark ballad style—featuring many of NYC’s finest musicians. Teaming up with powerhouse producers Alex Valenti (NYC) and Zé Luis Oliveira (Rio de Janeiro)\, JJ has fused urban beats and Brazilian flavor with fresh horn arrangements\, giving the album a radio-friendly\, street-savvy sound with a virtuosic edge. An accomplished composer\, arranger and musical director\, JJ was playing trumpet and violin by age 11 and the guitar by age 13. Growing up in and around New York\, JJ’s diverse influences—Santana\, Hendrix\, as well as jazz\, Motown and doo-wop—helped mold his unique style. After performing locally in NYC for several years in the early Nineties\, JJ embarked on his first European tour with the popular alternative rock band Heads Up. Upon returning to the States\, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston\, while returning to NYC every weekend to perform original music with his own band. While enrolled at Berklee\, JJ was the first and only artist to write an original piece for the well-known Singer’s Showcase (an all-cover music revue)\, and in his senior year he arranged a medley of Sting’s music performed for Sting and Nancy Wilson at Berklee’s 1994 commencement ceremonies. Majoring in commercial arranging\, JJ graduated cum laude and won the prestigious 1994 Writing Award of the Year. JJ returned to NYC and began performing nightly\, quickly earning a reputation as one of the hardest-working musicians on the scene. It wasn’t long before he started appearing and recording with artists like George Clinton\, Kelly Price\, SuperCat\, Shabba Ranks\, Monty Alexander\, the Jungle Brothers\, Rita & Kymani Marley\, and Toots and the Maytals\, and recording TV jingles for clients including Mercedes Benz\, 1-800-flowers and Citibank. He eventually settled in as lead guitarist for Maxi Priest in 2000\, immediately embarking on the first of several world tours. In his time back in the States\, JJ continued to perform in a variety of musical settings\, while laying down tracks for numerous artists and recording his own compositions in the studio. JJ Sansaverino & Nu Jazz continue to perform while simultaneously preparing for the recording of his sophomore album  “Waiting For You”. This project is a perfect follow up to “Sunshine After Midnight” delivering a continuous array of color full mood provoking music with a few guest special guest appearances. \n  \nFour80East\, the Toronto-based electro-jazz duo\, combines electronic and live elements in their groove-centric music. Rob DeBoer and Tony Grace\, the masterminds behind hits like “Noodle Soup”\, Eastside” and “Cinco Cinco Seis” have captivated audiences worldwide with their innovative and soulful musical compositions. They debuted in 19997 with “The Album” and have since released nine studio albums and a dynamic double live album. DESCRIPTION:Raklasikobop is the melange of Classical \, Haitian Rasin and Jazz Bibop music.\nThe show will have artist that focus of authentic roots music.\nIn the process\, some historical perspective will be provided.\nThis will be a concert that will stimulate all the sense and provide a mood of harmony and tranquility with some spice. \n  \n \n  \nEdy Brisseaux: Singer and Trumpetist\nEdy Brisseaux\, the “Golden Trumpet of Haiti” is known as the “King of Raklasikobop” which is the avant-garde concept of mixing Classical\, Haitian Rasin and Jazz Bebop music. He is a composer\, author\, educator and producer with more than 40 years of experience. He started his professional carreer at the age the age of seven years old. He studied at the Lycee Petion\, in Port-au-Prince Haiti\, then with the renowned Michel Desgrottes and in NY with the famous\, Berry Harris\, who played with John Coltrane. He has traveled around the world with bands like\, Les Freres Dejean\, Dixie Band\, Les Superstars\, Caribbean Sextet and Zekle. He has collaborated with artists\, including Wyclef Jean\, Alan Cave and many others. He has produced six albums and is about to release seven new albums. He is the leader of Bazilik\, which is a versatile band that he created which focuses on introducing audiences to the diversity of different musical genres. He believes that music unites\, heals and is a way of connecting to the devine. \nRyan Hamme: Drummer\nRyan Hamme has been perfoming for about 10 yrs. He is part of the NY musical scene and has played in jazz clubs like\, Smoke\, Birdland\, Mezzow\, to name a few. He has recorde with artist like Abraham Burton\, Ed Cherry\, David Dejesus and Alexis Cole due to his strong compentacy in multitude of musical styles. He currenlty resides in Boston. He is a adjunct professor of music at Hartwick College. He leads a percussion ensemble and has served as a guest lecturer on Aural Music Theory. \nIttetsu Nasuda: Keyboard\nIttetsu Nasuda was born in Tokyo. He began playing the piano at the age of 3 y/o. He was taught by his mother who is a professional pianist and teacher. He has been interested in Jazz improvisation. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston with Leo Blanco\, Bernado Hernadez\, Joanne Brackeen\, Rebecca Cline and Vadim Neselovskyi. Since 2012\, Ittetsu has joined many recording on A2C Productions in Massachusetts. He has composed many original songs\, beats and soundtracks. In 2015\, he moved to NYC and has been part of the NYC Latin and Jazz music scene\, performing regularly at various live venues all over the city. \nBently Lewis: Guitar\nBently Lewis has more than 20 yrs of experience. He immerses himself to the diversity of different genres which gives him a versatile edge on the bandstand. From solo guitar to dynamic trios and larger bands\, Bentley plays with remakable depth\, showcasing his amazing artistic style. His mission is to connect with his authentic self and to share his enduring love of music to everyone around him. He is a long fixture in the music scence in the NYC and Long Island area. \nRandall Watson: Trombone/Percussion\nRandall Watson was born in Nicaragua. He started playing the trombone since a young age in middle school. He studied at the Conservatory. He is versitle and has played with different band and genres like\, Kompa\, Salsa\, and Jazz. He composes\, arranges and performs in the NYC area. With Bazilik\, he is known as “Uncle Randall” for his leadership and warm personality. \nPaul Monteau: Congas\nPaul Monteau has been playing the congas for more than 20yrs. He is able to play the drums and guitar as well. He fell in love with the sound of the congas. He taught himself how to play. He started at the church and played with different groups like\, Rossignol and Pied D’etoiles. He has recorded several gospal records. He has ventured with rap music and was part of the 1st rap group in Haiti\, called Academie Rap Boys. He is versatile and believes that music connects the world and is a universal language. \nNiles Spaulding: Bass\nNiles Spaulding is a bassit form New Fairfield CT. He graduated from the Western Conneticut State University Jazz and Music Production Program. He plays with a varity of other musicians. He\, recently\, won the Bluegrass Band Competition at the Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival in Maine. He has a background in Jazz\, Rock and Bluegrass. Inspired by the majestic performances of the Haitian operatic soprano Gladys Odate and the timeless ballads of Sandi Patty\, she embarked on a journey to explore the depths of her musical soul. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Miami-Dade Community College\, where under the tutelage of Juan Secada\, she honed her craft in classical music. Here\, amidst the symphonic crescendos and graceful cadences\, Magalie’s talent blossomed like a delicate flower in full bloom. However\, fate had other plans for Magalie\, and in the mid-1990’s\, she felt a calling to shift her focus towards the noble field of Social Work. Relocating to the bustling streets of New York City in 1994\, she embarked on a new chapter of her life\, dedicating herself to serving the diverse communities of the Big Apple. Despite her demanding career\, Magalie’s passion for music remained undiminished. With each passing year\, she continued to enchant audiences with her mesmerizing performances\, gracing venues ranging from hallowed church halls to the prestigious corridors of The United Nations. He is the founder of the “Beraca Interdenominational Choir\,” known for its powerful performances in churches across the United States. Edzer’s prowess extends to songwriting\, directing vocal groups\, and serving as the Director of Music and Arts\, Worship Pastor\, and Choir Director at Beraca Baptist Church in Brooklyn\, New York. \n  \nAVIOLE JOSEPH\nFrom Pilate\, a small town in the Nord of Haiti and from a strong musical background\, Aviole inherited her voice from her mother\, “Violette Alcime” a fabulous classical singer of the Christian community. Aviole also developed her passion from watching and listening to her late aunt who raised her. In Port-au-Prince\, where she grew up\, Aviole enjoyed listening to her aunt’s voice\, echoing in their neighborhood during “black out”. At the end of every song\, in the quiet darkness\, the neighbors\, young and old would applaud as they enjoyed their free live concert. In 1992\, Aviole reunited with her parents in New York\, where immediately joined the first choir of FSBC of Clermont Ave\, under the baton of the great Apollon Menard.\nToday\, Aviole continued to develop her voice under the teaching of Soprano Hannah Kim. As a soloist\, she sings God’s praises wherever there is an ear\, willing to listen. \n  \nVSMUSIC4U STRING QUARTET\nLive music was founded in 2009 by professional musicians who have performed all over Europe and the US\, including concert at Canergie Hall\, Lincoln Center and Merkin Hall in NYC. He loves to praise God and enjoys playing his saxophone. Through. He knew he had the gift and started playing at a young age. He has three albums\, and he has always influenced by Kenny G. Dave Koz\, and David Sanborn. He has performed in different places\, Churches\, Special Events\, etc. His massive style of repertoire always brings great joy to people’s heart and freedom to your soul. \n  \nEMILY JOHN\nEmily John resides in the New York City area where she is a freelance harpist and teacher. She performs regularly with regional orchestras\, choirs\, and for private events. Emily serves on the faculties of Queens College –CUNY\, Aaron Copland School of Music. Emily received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Eastman School of Music where she studied harp with Kathleen Bride. In addition to her experience as a harpist Emily is an active singer and conductor in the NY area. Past conducting appointments include The Amadeus Chorale\, the Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens College\, The Treble Voices of Queens\, Special Music School\, and the Mineola Choral Society. Her publications include an article on works for choir and harp in the American Harp Journal; “Student Composition: a viable technique\,” found in the American Harp Journal’s Teacher’s Forum; and “By the Book: An Annotated Bibliography of Music-Based Picture Books\,” in General Music Today. Ms. John’s choral compositions and arrangements have been performed and recorded by school choirs and community youth choirs. \n

Offering over 23\,000 children a six-week summer reprieve from the intrinsic\, sectarian violence of “The Troubles” in Northern Ireland\, this extraordinary tale resonates to all that is good in this world. \nIn today’s era of both a shared and integrated society\, this may not seem unusual but in the segregated communities of the seventies and eighties\, this was a monumental brave step towards healing and was ultimately instrumental in helping our world leaders forge the pathway for peace in Northern Ireland. \nDenis Mulcahy’s Awards and Achievements: \nDenis Mulcahy has received many accolades for his vigorous work in assisting the peace process in Northern Ireland and was twice nominated for the very prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for all his work for the children of Northern Ireland and was runner up to the First President of South Africa\, Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa respectively. \nIn 1995\, Denis received the Top Cop Award in Washington D.C. by Vice President Al Gore and later that year\, Denis accompanied President Clinton on his historic trip to Northern Ireland. \nIn 2016\, Denis received the title of Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II. In 2017 he also received the Presidential Distinguished Service Award for the Irish Abroad\, presented to him personally by the President of Ireland Michael J. Higgins. \nIn 2018\, he also received a presentation on behalf of the Washington Ireland Program from the Irish Taoiseach\, Leo Vradakar. Taoiseach Vradakar was one of the first participants from the south of Ireland on the Washington Ireland Program. \nThis same year the Mulcahy Scholarship was founded by the Aisling Irish Community Center\, Yonkers\, NY. The scholarship is an opportunity for American high school students to attend summer camps in Ireland with the aim of experiencing and connecting to Irish culture and heritage.
