SUMMARY:Shut Up & Sit Down\, a Q&A with the Sopranos\, and a Taste of NY
DESCRIPTION:“Shut Up & Sit Down\, a Q&A with the Sopranos\, and a Taste of NY” will be the 10th anniversary of the last episode gathering of the HBO’s hit Series “the Sopranos” for these hilarious “talk back” events. The multiple Emmy nominated and Oscar nominated actor Lorraine Bracco helped organize the event with her friend\, Michael Sullivan. They wanted to honor her good friend Mitchell Modell. “He has done so much for the community and never asks for anything in return\,” Bracco said\, “I felt it was time to honor Mitch for all the work he has done.” Crohn’s is an important organization for Mr. Modell because he has had family members directly affected by Crohn’s. Ms. Bracco said\, “This [event] will be the perfect way to honor him.” \nJoining Ms. Bracco will be cast members\, Tony Sirico “Paulie Walnuts Gulatieri”\, Steve Shirripa ”Bobby ‘Bacala’ Baccalieri”; Vincent Curatola “Johnny ‘Johnny Sack’ Sacramoni”; Johnny Ventimiglia”Artie Bucco”; and Dominic Chianese”Corrado ‘Uncle Junior’ Soprano.” With Master of Ceremonies Joey Kola and other guest comedians\, Long Island singer Eddie Sessa; the evening will be filled with fun\, laughter and food\, the Italian way. The evening will continue on the Great Lawn after the show that will include drink\, music and great food from local and New York City restaurants with sponsors including Susan and Marty Bevilacqua of Oceanville Masonry\, Molloy College\, Donna and Michael Sullivan\, and The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation pitching in to make this event a success. It is certain to be a fun and exciting evening. \nThe Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a national organization founded in 1967 and is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).  We know firsthand the crucial significance of supporting an organization such as Crohn’s and Colitis will help with their mission in finding a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis\, as well as to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. \n
