DESCRIPTION:The History of American Rock & Roll returns for its sixth consecutive year with The Marcels\, The Crystals\, and Jay Siegel’s Tokens. The multi-talented Jay Siegel is best known for his soaring falsetto on the classic mega-hit\, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”  Two of the Top 50 most popular records in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame belong to The Crystals with hits like “Uptown\,” “He’s a Rebel\,” “He’s Sure the Boy I Love\,” “Da Doo Ron Ron\,” and “Then He Kissed Me.” The Marcels are\, as advertised\, the guys who put the “Bomp” in the “Bomp-A-Bomp” back in 1961 when their first recording\, “Blue Moon\,” sold over two and a half million copies. Joined by the Coda Band for an amazing night!

DESCRIPTION:The Madison Theatre presents in concert Little Shop of Horrors\, a horror comedy rock musical\, by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman\, about a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. The music\, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll\, doo-wop and early Motown\, includes several well-known tunes\, including the title song\, “Skid Row (Downtown)\,” “Somewhere That’s Green\,” and “Suddenly\, Seymour.”  Featuring a live orchestra and members of the Madison Theatre Studio Company.
