Hello dear readers. Prepare to go back through time on a trip through my own memory lane. I’ve always loved reading. Since I could read, I’ve always had a book with me. I still remember reading the first Harry Potter book—with some help from my grandmother, as I was just starting to read then—a memory I will forever cherish. I also remember when the first Harry Potter movie was released and little 7 year old me couldn’t wait to see my favorite characters brought to life. By taking your children to Jigsaw Jones, they can have the same experience of seeing one of their favorite books brought to life in front of them.
I know that if I was a child and I had read this story I would have loved to see it performed live. If anyone had made a play out of any of the Series of Unfortunate Events books or any of the many Andrew Clements or Sharon Creech books I devoured as a child, I would have immediately begged all of my family members to buy tickets for the performance. So I would definitely recommend that you give the children in your life the treat of seeing James Preller’s wonderful book, Jigsaw Jones and the Case of the Class Clown performed live. They will love you forever for it, and so will your inner child.
