Please join us for this one-of-a-kind chance to see Academy Award winning actress, producer, director and best-selling author Goldie Hawn, in person! In this rare Long Island appearance, Goldie Hawn will be talking about her legendary career, her children’s book series, The After School Kindness Crew (7-10 age range), with the first of the series – The After-School Kindness Crew: Pooch on the Loose #1– written with Lin Oliver and illustrated by Breanna Chambers.
Goldie Hawn was featured in the TV show Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In in the late 1960s. She later won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her comedic role in the film Cactus Flower. She also starred in Private Benjamin, There’s a Girl in My Soup, Shampoo, Foul Play, Overboard, Death Becomes Her and a slew of other movies. Goldie Hawn is also the founder of the Hawn Foundation as well as an international children’s advocate and enthusiastic campaigner for the mindful celebration of life. She is also a mother and grandmother. Her bestselling autobiography, A Lotus Grows in the Mud, was published in 2005.
