THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN ROCK & ROLLFeaturing:The Marcels, The Crystals & Jay Siegel's Tokens
February 2 8:00 pm
The History of American Rock & Roll returns for its sixth consecutive year with The Marcels, The Crystals, and Jay Siegel’s Tokens. The multi-talented Jay Siegel is best known for his soaring falsetto on the classic mega-hit, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” Two of the Top 50 most popular records in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame belong to The Crystals with hits like “Uptown,” “He’s a Rebel,” “He’s Sure the Boy I Love,” “Da Doo Ron Ron,” and “Then He Kissed Me.” The Marcels are, as advertised, the guys who put the “Bomp” in the “Bomp-A-Bomp” back in 1961 when their first recording, “Blue Moon,” sold over two and a half million copies. Joined by the Coda Band for an amazing night!
