October Starts Tomorrow!

Hey, Madison Theatre-Lovers! (It’s been a while!)

The first day of October is tomorrow and that means a whole new month of fun and entertainment!

We’re starting off this month with our Annual Opera. This year’s opera is Madama Butterfly, happening October 5th and 6th. Madama Butterfly is a three-act opera that first premiered in Milan in 1904. It tells the story of the doomed love of a Japanese woman, “Butterfly,” for a U.S. naval officer who marries and deserts her.

Then we have concerts such as Special EFX All Stars and Give Our Regards To Broadway: A Salute to The 1960’s! Special EFX All Stars features stars such as Chielli Minucci, Elliot Yamin, Eric Marienthal, Karen Briggs, Lao Tizer, Jerry Brooks, Joel Rosenblatt, and Mino Cinelu. Give Our Regards will feature a vast array of songs from 1960’s Broadway!

Up next is fun for everyone, especially your kiddos! Our Halloween Fun Fest! Costumes, candy, your favorite characters, and more!

Finally, we’re finishing strong with CAP21’s Production of Spring Awakening. Molloy’s Musical Theatre Program Seniors present a beautiful rock musical about love, loss, and growing up.
