Want an evening at the opera, but don’t want to go to the city?! Come to the Madison Theatre on October 6th, at 7 p.m. and October 7th, at 3 p.m. to enjoy Puccini’s Tosca live on Stage!

The Classic Opera will be fully staged with a cast of 40 and accompanied by the South Shore Symphony as well as the Long Island Opera Children’s Chorus and the Long Island Choral Society. The score is filled with some of Puccini’s best-known and well loved arias. The night will consist of love, torture, and maybe even murder. The Opera will be in Italian, but the Madison will have English subtitles so that all can enjoy.

The cast consists of some incredible New York City based vocalists such as Brian Alvarado, John Brakatselos, Alec Carlson, Jose Heredia, Peter Ludwig, Christine Rohm, Luke Scott, and Tom Sitzler.  The Operas here at the Madison Theatre are no joke, they go all out. If the vocals alone don’t leave you breathless, the addition of the scenic design, costumes, and lighting will for sure take your breath away. Some of the best technicians will be working on this Opera to aid the story and singers in creating a magical night right here in Rockville Centre. The Madison Theatre has such an incredible space that is so intimate. It will allow you to feel like you are part of the Opera. You will have no choice but to become fully connected to the story that is unfolding on the stage.
