Right now we have three fabulous shows for July – Swingtime Big Band: Swingin’ On Home (7/9/23), Mom’s Night Out (7/20/23), and The Sixties Show (7/21/23).
Firstly, Swingtime Big Band is returning to the Madison Theatre stage, and we are beyond excited about it! This show will be the 16th time their twenty-piece band will be playing at the Madison. This performance will feature many hits focusing on the theme of home from the Great American Songbook, including the works of Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Gene Krupa, Harry James, and Stan Kenton. Additionally, the band’s vocalists will salute many iconic singers, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra, all led their Artistic Director Steve Shaiman. Join us in this celebration of “home” and enjoy a night at the Madison Theatre with the incredible Swingtime Big Band.
A short two weeks after Swingtime’s performance, the LI Comedy Presents: Mom’s Night Out! The show is made by moms, for moms, featuring the following outstanding comedians: Ellen Karis – “Greek Goddess of Comedy”; NYC comedy scene, Kendra Cunningham – Last Comic Standing; Jimmy Fallon Show; Dry Bar Comedy Special, Maria Walsh – “America’s Naughtiest Mommy”; Vegas’ Next Big Act; National headliner, Maureen Langan – HBO; Caroline’s NYC; Dry Bar Comedy Special; National headliner. You will not want to miss this show, we hope you join us for a night of laughs!
Finally, the next day we are time-traveling back to the 1960’s. The Sixties Show brings all the nostalgia to the Madison! This updated show includes new songs, multimedia, narration, stage set, and new members of the cast. The Sixties Show, from NYC, is the greatest 1960’s musical re-creation concert EVER! The incredible performers include current and former members of The Who and John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival). Come rock with us at the Madison!
